- J2> Does anyone know where to get TECHINCAL info on the Trident 8900 chip? Specifically, I need to learn to use the
- J2>bankswitching features to use the 256 color hires modes.
-
- J2> An address or phone number of trident or if you have a technical manual you don't use anymore, i'll buy it.
-
- Hi Jason,
-
- Trident was kind enough to provide me with a complete technical reference for
- their 8900 chip when I asked for one last year. It costs a whopping $8 bucks.
- The manual will provide you with everything you need to write a driver for the
- 8900 chip along with 80x86 assembler examples to get you started.
-
- They're BBS number was (415) 691-1016 when I last checked.
-
- Hope this helps.
