- I have been looking for a sparc fax system.
- Here is what I have found with comments and costs.
-
-
- V-Systems VSI*FAX Software +1 714 545 6442 Fax +1 714 545 7653
- FxServer FSRVSN1 1 495.00
- FxScript FSCRSN1 395.00
- FxVision FVSNSN1 795.00
- Unlimited X terminals on system 2 495.00
- or
- Per X terminal 95.00
-
- MKS's system 5 180.00
-
- Evaluation cost
- 125.00
-
- Comments
- Everything appears to work as documented.
- VSI*FAX postscript emulation is good.
- The system appears to work great.
- V-Systems treats Xterminals as "nodes" and
- you need to have a license for each X terminal you plan to
- run the software on.
- There is a regular terminal interface which is also friendly.
-
- GNP Computers XpressFax +1 818
- 10 user floating license 5 000.00
-
- Evaluation cost
- 50.00
-
- Comments
- XpressFax is $5000 is supposed to have same features as VSI*FAX.
- It also has a source of OCR software, forever they do not have the price.
- I have not received the eval package yet. Xpressfax is licensed per active user.
-
- COS Software TruFax +1 In New Jersey
- 630.00
- Comments
- It's cheap. The postscript emulation was poorly done. It works OK.
