- After installing TCSH 6.02 on a Sparc 2, I noticed that I was unable to echo
- control or escape characters to the window manager twm or mwm.
-
- For example: This should change the tile bar of the xterm window.
-
- >alias cwdcmd 'echo -n "^[]2;${HOST}:$cwd ^G"'
- >cd tmp
- ^[]2;gregg:/tmp ^G >
-
- The shell is just treating the echo as text.
- So, I tried setty +echoctl, with no change.
-
- Thanks for any suggestions,
- Sean
