- You're saying two different things. One is that new users shouldn't
- be given altered commands, and the second is that it's all right to
- pamper people. It was pretty clear that I was talking about whether
- or not rm should be aliased for new users, which was what I took your
- position to be. By all means, if I give you a gun, you're free to
- shoot yourself in the foot if you know how it operates. :-)

- Wouldn't. It would call for non-over-reliance on utilities which are
- not available on a majority of Unix platforms, and whose sudden
- disappearance can be disastrous for the unexpecting user.
