- Does anyone know of a means of transfering a large file system
- from VAX/VMS to Unix (SGI and/or Sun)? I'm aware of VMS TAR
- and have used it to transfer relatively small quantities of files
- (and subdirectories), but now I need to transfer data on the
- order of a "removable disk pack" before a certain VMS machine
- gets unplugged in two weeks. If there were a utility available
- which could read VMS savesets from 9 track tapes, I think this
- would become a non-problem. Thanks in advance...
