- I'm having problems with a Sun running SunOs 4.1.2.
- Whenever I try to transfer a binary file with ymodem or
- zmodem, it fails. The filename and size come through ok,
- but none of the blocks is successfully transferred. If I use
- Kermit, it works fine--but I may grow old before the transfer
- completes.
-
- As far as I can tell, something is stripping off the 8th bit
- along the way. I've tried stty cs8 and stty pass8 to
- no avail.
-
- Any suggestions? Am I way off base about the 8th bit? Help!
-
-
- Many thanks in advance,
- Brian
