- I'm having a problem with an old file and I'm hoping I can
- get some help via the newsgroups...
- A while back (bout a year or so). I tarred and compressed
- a file on the Unix system. I then used kermit to save it
- to a 3.5 floppy. The file size on the floppy is about
- 350k. My problem is that I cannot uncompress the file
- anymore. I uploaded it to Unix but the uncompress always
- fails... I think that I MIGHT have accidently saved it
- in ascii format (sigh) but I'm not sure... Does anyone
- know of how I can salvage my files?
