  14. My apologies if you find this in the wrong group.

  16. I got a very simple problem. I want to sense if the user has pressed some
  17. designated keys and if so take some appropriate actions else continue
  18. with the default process. In other words i want something similar to 
  19. getchar() without halting permanently for the user input.
