  10. I have a question:

  12. Is it possible to write a program that can directly manipulate disk blocks and 
  13. inodes. That is I want to write a relational database program and for speed I 
  14. want to play with the disk in blocks... Like seting up index files and such.

  16. If anyone has example code to do this that would be great too look at :)
