- I'm soliciting opinions on reliable optical disk systems. We
- need to backup large amounts of data in a way that will allow
- at least pseudo-random access to the files, so I can't easily
- use my 8mm tape. We've been using Delta Microsystem's SS-800W,
- but its reliability (or the reliability of the platters) is
- just too poor for us to stick with it.
-
- WORM is okay, and a SCSI interface is necessary. Any suggestions?
