  14. I'm soliciting opinions on reliable optical disk systems. We
  15. need to backup large amounts of data in a way that will allow
  16. at least pseudo-random access to the files, so I can't easily
  17. use my 8mm tape. We've been using Delta Microsystem's SS-800W,
  18. but its reliability (or the reliability of the platters) is
  19. just too poor for us to stick with it.

  21. WORM is okay, and a SCSI interface is necessary. Any suggestions?
