I have been trying to recompile the kernel with no luck. I patched the
makefile, and carefully followed the instructions provided in the ROADMAP
file. (config MACHINE cd to compile/MACHINE make depend, then make) The
make depend flies fine, but the make just kinda hangs.
I looked at the archives of the group and I see some others have been having
the same problem, but I haven't seen a definitive fix or patch or workaround.
I would appreciate it if someone could let me know how to fix this.
I will summarize via e-mail or to the net (if there is enough demand).
