  12. I have a 386 with binnary installed from disks.  It has an SMC ether
  13. card that is recognised as we0.  everything was working nicely till I 
  14. tried to set up the network on it.  I uncomented the we0 line in 
  15. /etc/netstart and rebooted.  the console is flooded with 
  16.  
  17. /386bsd: reject65340   messages.  The number is mostly 65340 but is some
  18. times 65342, 65344, 65366.  if I type 
  19.  
  20. ifconfig we0 down 
  21. the messages stop but this doesn't help to get the network started.  Is 
  22. there something I am missing (probably so) and what is it.
