- hello,
-
- I will very soon be in the market for a machine on which to run 386bsd.
- I intend to get an EISA machine because I know that EISA drivers will be
- written sooner or later :-)
-
- But what I want to know is this: Is there any reason to not get a local bus
- machine? I intend to only run unix (well, maybe OS/2 too :-). I really want
- to run XFree86 -- that is my main application.
-
- So, are there any local bus video/SCSI controller drivers out there?
- Are any being worked on? Or is local bus inherently incompatible with
- unix?
-
- thank you for you time,
-
