- This is because the clock initialization code reads the CMOS and
- converts to UTC. The problem is that it knows nothing about the
- intricacies of time zones and presidential election years. I worked
- around it by leaving the CMOS set to standard time (My wife has not
- noticed that the DOS clock is one hour off). If you only run 386bsd on
- your system this means you don't have to reset your systems clock every
- time that daylight savings time changes.
