- I saw this too with the original printer driver. I think you need
- to have a parallel interface which streams interrupt to your system
- at a rate unrelated to any parallel activity. That you're seeing this
- also suggests that the original printer driver wouldn't work very
- well for you, anyway.

- Mr. Stanglmeier came up with a lpt driver which doesn't need interrupts.
- I tweaked it a little bit more. It handles my printer fine, and
- also appears to use LESS(!) CPU than the interrupt-driven configuration.
