  11. Would someone mind telling me why X386 is _so_ disk intensive. 
  12. Whenever I scroll from one Xterm to another, it seems to take 
  13. _forever_ because of all the disk access that is going on.

  15. I am running on a  386-40 (AMD. of course)  and my unix partition
  16. is on an 80MB maxtor IDE..  any clues as to why X386 is so slow?
