  12. Has anyone been using any other window manager other than twm?

  14. I have been using the Motif window manager and I like it better than twm.

  16. I have heard of gwm, olvwm plus a few others, but have not tried them
  17. with Xfree86.

  19. PS:  The way I use mwm with 386bsd is this.....

  21. edit /usr/X386/lib/xinit/xinitrc

  23. comment out the line that states twm &
  24. use xhost to allow other access  xhost +   ( I think or was it xhost - )

  26. rsm userid otherhost /usr/bin/X11/mwm -display myip:0 &

  29. This actually tells otherhost to run its window manager pointing back to my 
  30. box.  It actually works great!

  32. I have also tried HPvue window manager this way, and it works ok also.
