  14. I will very soon be in the market for a machine on which to run 386bsd.
  15. I intend to get an EISA machine because I know that EISA drivers will be
  16. written sooner or later :-)

  18. But what I want to know is this: Is there any reason to not get a local bus
  19. machine? I intend to only run unix (well, maybe OS/2 too :-). I really want
  20. to run XFree86 -- that is my main application.

  22. So, are there any local bus video/SCSI controller drivers out there?
  23. Are any being worked on? Or is local bus inherently incompatible with
  24. unix?
