- Hello,
-
- I am having trouble installing 306bsd. This morning, I mread the bin dist
- into /tmp and then extracted them fine. However, when the system accidently
- rebooted, I decided that I should start over from scratch rather than invest
- more time and kill myself later.
-
- So I did just that, and now no matter what the hell I do, extract tells me
- that etc01.71 and bin01.46 are corrupt. Now, I am using the same disks
- are I did before, and I even re-ftp-ed them from my workstation to my PC,
- when that didn't work, I even re-ftp-ed them from agate.berkeley to my PC,
- When that didn't work, I even ftp-ed them from agate.berkeley to my 386bsd
- setup using slip. No matter what I do, these two files etc01.71 & bin01.46
- are corrupt.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas of what I am doing wrong? I have re-installed
- tiny-bsd many times and started over and over from scratch. Does anyone
- have an idea of how to fix my situation.
-
- thanks in advance
-
