- I'm having problems installing 386bsd: it won't
- boot from floppy on my pc; I tested the boot
- disk I made on a friend's machine, and it workjed
- fine, so the rawrite worked OK. My machine is:
- 386/25 with no cache
- AMI BIOS (dated 04/09/90) and with a 'K8'suffix
- on the serial number (a revision, I think)
- 10 Mb RAM
- IDE drive and one floppy (3.5")
-
- Nothing happens at all: no banner after the BIOS info
- box.
-
- Do I have the well known AMI BIOS that really sucks that
- everyone in the comp.os.* groups always complains about??
-
- Any suggestions??
