  13. I'm having problems installing 386bsd: it won't
  14. boot from floppy on my pc; I tested the boot
  15. disk I made on a friend's machine, and it workjed
  16. fine, so the rawrite worked OK. My machine is:
  17.     386/25 with no cache
  18.     AMI BIOS (dated 04/09/90) and with a 'K8'suffix
  19.         on the serial number (a revision, I think)
  20.     10 Mb RAM
  21.     IDE drive and one floppy (3.5")
  22.  
  23. Nothing happens at all: no banner after the BIOS info
  24. box.

  26. Do I have the well known AMI BIOS that really sucks that
  27. everyone in the comp.os.* groups always complains about??
