- I had a similar problem: after installing the bin distribution, "mcopy"
- worked, but "mdir", "mcd", "mwrite", etc. gave errors such as you describe.
- After recompiling the source from scratch, things worked. I don't know
- the explanation. I can now read, write, and dir both floppy drives and
- my DOS partition on the hard drive.
