  13. Just a (hopefully) helpful reminder ... there's a fair amount of traffic
  14. to wade through as one reads the Usenet news.  Good `Subject:' lines
  15. are very important.

  17. Do yourself and others a favor by selecting an appropriate `Subject:'
  18. line, so that people don't waste time reading things that aren't of
  19. interest to them or questions that they can't answer.

  21. Something like `386bsd questions' is fairly useless.  Something more
  22. specific will help you and your readers:

  24.     Subject: ifconfig, com1 lockups, console driver, etc. ?

  26. The less descriptive your `Subject:' line the more likely people will
  27. skip it without reading it.
