- I know have my ST1239A drive working with BSD - a great it is too !

- The problem turned out to be the IDE controller. I had one of these
- integrated IDE controllers, with 2 serial and 2 parallel ports on it
- as well. I have now changed this for a really old IDE controller and
- equally old serial/parallel board and the system is fine.

- Great, now I have UNIX at home - now to compile X386, set up the printer,
- write a device driver for my scanner, write the application to read the
- scanner, and .......
