  13. I currently have a modem set up to receive calls so people can log
  14. onto a Quadra 700.  The modem is a Prometheus 9600.  I was wondering if
  15. this modem could be setup so that it can both receive incoming calls
  16. as well as be used to dial out.  The way I currently do this is by going
  17. into the /etc/inittab file and changing "respawn" to "off" (to enable
  18. dial-out) and visa-versa to enable dial-in.  After this I execute the
  19. following command "telinit q" and everything works OK.  This is
  20. following the instructions in the install manuals, I was wondering if
  21. there were any "tricks" that would help me out.  Thanks in advance for
  22. any advice.
