- I currently have a modem set up to receive calls so people can log
- onto a Quadra 700. The modem is a Prometheus 9600. I was wondering if
- this modem could be setup so that it can both receive incoming calls
- as well as be used to dial out. The way I currently do this is by going
- into the /etc/inittab file and changing "respawn" to "off" (to enable
- dial-out) and visa-versa to enable dial-in. After this I execute the
- following command "telinit q" and everything works OK. This is
- following the instructions in the install manuals, I was wondering if
- there were any "tricks" that would help me out. Thanks in advance for
- any advice.
