- This is seriously bogus. In other words, A/UX is broken.

- On a similar note, I've had slip running nicely on Panix (a IIfx) for quite
- a while with 3.0. However, don't count on it ever working on a Quadra 950.
- Apparently, it provokes the serial-port bug where the driver gets into a funny
- state and all incoming characters are dropped. You may or may not ever be
- able to use it, but _most_ of the time, if not all, you can successfully ping
- a host over SLIP _once_ (ie, one packet's worth) and then the port locks up.

- I don't know if this affects a Q900. Apparently, the Q700 is different, but
- that's no big surprise since the port architecture is entirely different.
