  12. Well, my problem getting slip to work from my Q700 at home turned out to
  13. both simple and obscure, like I thought might be the case.  A co-worker
  14. who had his Mac working mailed me all of his shell scripts and config
  15. files and I pawed through them all.  Apparently my problem was that I
  16. have to do the ifconfig BEFORE the slattach.  None of which was mentioned
  17. in any of the man pages or manuals I had.  None of the people who looked
  18. at my bogus slipup script noticed anything wrong either.  Well, it does
  19. work now, so I guess that's a victory.  Sigh...
