- Well, my problem getting slip to work from my Q700 at home turned out to
- both simple and obscure, like I thought might be the case. A co-worker
- who had his Mac working mailed me all of his shell scripts and config
- files and I pawed through them all. Apparently my problem was that I
- have to do the ifconfig BEFORE the slattach. None of which was mentioned
- in any of the man pages or manuals I had. None of the people who looked
- at my bogus slipup script noticed anything wrong either. Well, it does
- work now, so I guess that's a victory. Sigh...
