  24. Shouldn't these be done the other way around?  You want the higher density
  25. SIMMs in bank A.  (Although I was somewhat surprised to find yesterday that
  26. my new IIci had the 5 megs it came with (from Apple) installed the "wrong"
  27. way....)  I don't think this matters much with MacOS, but I have heard
  28. others say that A/UX is somewhat more picky about this....

  34. Hmmm.  Could be.  If you have the new ROMs can you use "normal" SIMMs (i.e.
  35. the ones without the PAL...)?  Anyone know exactly what the dependencies

  41. Well, I hope you get a real one from a real expert.  I just thought these
  42. ideas might jog some memories.  I do have 20 megs in an A/UX machine, but
  43. then that is an SE/30 which has ROMs that, although they are also not
  44. 32-bit "clean", *are* post-FDHD....
