  11. I've always run with a personal system folder and haven't seen any funny
  12. problems at all.  I'd suspect a flaky INIT conflict first.  For
  13. instance, if you use AccessPC, remove it for a while and see if your
  14. Finder runs better.  Does MacsBug give any clues?

  16. One small detail.  I made my personal System Folder by hand before I
  17. realized that there was a command for building one.  Thus I have copies
  18. of everything in my home directory rather than symbolic links.  I can't
  19. think of any way that this would affect anything.  Re-running
  20. "systemfolder" doesn't change anything, so I think that my setup is OK.
