- Hello,
-
- I just installed 4 four meg simms (in bank b) into my mac II. The
- mac does not have the high density floppy drive.
-
- If I run MODE32 with system 7.01 the finder shows (as it should)
- twenty megabytes of memory. If I attempt to launch A/UX 3.0 with
- MODE32 on the launch hangs. When I launch with MODE32 off, A/UX
- comes up with only knowledge of 8 meg total memory (at least that
- is what the startup screen claims).
-
- I have tried autoconfig and launched newunix but to no avail.
-
- I have set MAXPMEM to 16 million with kconfig but the system still
- booted with only knowledge of 8 meg.
-
- I have a similiar problem with A/UX 2.01 running on a 6.08 system.
-
- Can anybody tell me how to get A/UX to recognize the extra memory?
-
- Thanks
- Jerry LeVan (matlevan@eku.bitnet or levan%eagle@eku.bitnet)
