  10. I'm about due to get my copy of Amix in and was talking to a friend of mine
  11. about the cacheing on SVR4.  He though that the size of the cache was fixed
  12. and wouldn't auto-size with respect to malloc/frees...  In such an advanced
  13. system, I imagined that they did have a nice management schemen that could
  14. use most of the available RAM.

  16. So I guess my question would be, on a system with 16MB FAST RAM, what's a
  17. good ammount of cache to use?  I'm going to be running X and compilers much
  18. of the time...
