- Nope. Mach is a microkernel written at CMU. It is not a UNIX at all.
- However there is an effort on to port the CMU BSDSS server as well.
- This server is basically the high-order bits of BSD UNIX kernel
- running as a single server under Mach. So when _that's_ finished
- you'll have a BSD-workalike.

- Actually running BSDSS under Mach is something like a downgrade - Mach
- has excellent IPC which UNIX so sorely lacks, it supports concurrent
- operation of multiple operating systems, it allows for lightweight
- threads... I could go on for hours :-)
