- An acquiantance recently installed an R/6K for office automation (moving up
- from a Novell network). There are (or will be) 10 - 15 dedicated stations
- connected (all dumb serial boxes). The employees have been using Word Per-
- fect (DOS) and are very comfortable with it.
-
- My question is: Would the current (read PAID for) DOS-based Word Perfect
- be adequate, under DOS emulation, for the office's needs? Would upgrading
- to a site license for Word Perfect/AIX (read BIG $$$) be better?
-
- Any tips would be appreciated.
