- This is done by reading the 3rd tape file, the toc. This may or may not
- accurately represent what follows on the rest of the tape :-)
- I have come across tapes where every file from the 4th (ie the 1st product
- file) was followed by *two* tape marks. This made tcopy think there were
- only 4 files on the tape, & installing crapped out badly, except for the
- 1st, because the install process relies on the info in the toc. So instead
- of the product files being file no's 4,5,6... they were really 4,6,8... with
- zero-length ones in between. The solution was to read them off with dd, run
- bffcreate to produce install images in /usr/lpp.install, and install from
- those.

- I'm guessing here, we're not likely to see a 3.2.2 tape before Xmas in this
- part of the world :-( Is the 3.2.2 an installation tape? I was under the
- impression that it's just updates (fixes), in which case it's not bootable.
- You would have to boot from & install 3.2.0, then update to 3.2.2
