  20. Last week I ordered the PTF to fix the -H printer flag problem, after
  21. a few days...I received a tape with the fix and about 40-50 others on
  22. there.

  24. When I tried to install the fix, it came back with some wierd
  25. requirements that it said needed to be installed.  So I called IBM
  26. again, and this time they told me that installp was broken and needed a
  27. fix.  I ordered the appropriate PTF (U406852) and after a few more
  28. days...I received the fix.  This tape only has about 10 other PTFs on
  29. it.

  31. All I want to know is why can't IBM just send me a complete tape with
  32. all the fixes on there.  The access might be slower - but at
  33. least it would be faster than waiting for the mailman to deliver the
  34. next PTF tape.  Better yet , take AIX , apply all the fixes available,
  35. test it and then ship a real working version that I don't have to keep
  36. calling IBM to get fixes for....

  38. Can someone send me a master list of PTF numbers and problems reported ?
  39. I'd like to know what else is out there that I don't know about...
