- GCC version 1 has not been ported to the RS/6000. However, GCC version
- 2 has been. You should be able to FTP it from prep.ai.mit.edu, or any
- other FTP site with GNU software. The current released version is
- 2.2.2.

-
- No version of GCC is legally in the "public domain". It is copyrighted
- software which you may distribute under certain conditions.

-
- You can order the "experimental" tape from the Free Software Foundation
- for $200. This money would go to further the development of GCC, GNU
- Emacs, and a variety of other free software.
