  13.   I've gotten several responses from people to my previous
  14. postings about restores of rootvg by inode.  It appears
  15. that a common practice is to perform a mksysb; then at
  16. various times in the future, dump files that have changed
  17. by hook or crook.  The assumption is that if disaster
  18. strikes a rootvg disk, some way would be found at that
  19. time to restore rootvg completely.  My reaction is that
  20. I'm glad you're not backing up any of my systems.

  22.   Rather than repost articles, I've made postings and
  23. responses, and a copy of a fax sent to the Support Center
  24. kernel group, available for anonymous ftp from
  25. uvaarpa.Virginia.EDU in pub/rs6000/rootvg.restores.  If
