  12. We are in the process of upgrading our system(s) from AIX 3.1.5 to AIX 3.2 on
  13. our RS/6000's.
  14.  
  15. We have written a device driver to handle worm jukeboxes, which works fine
  16. under 3.1.5, but the same device driver will not even LOAD under 3.2 !!!
  17.  
  18. It fails during the loadext() call in the configuration methods, which is called
  19. by mkdev.  Naturally we have kept the same device configuration parameters as
  20. we had under 3.1.5
  21.  
  22. We have also re-compiled the drivers, but to no avail.
  23.  
  24. We were lead to understand that this driver would work under 3.2, but obviously
  25. someone has forgotten something...
  26.  
  27. Has anyone had any similar experiences with their custom device drivers ??
  28.  
  29. ANY suggestions would be welcome.
