  11. I've got a slight problem here with pcsim that perhaps y'all can help
  12. me with.

  14. I am talking to the rs/6000 with a vt100 over a serial line , and I'm
  15. wanting to run 'dos' under pcsim.  I've got a few programs loaded in
  16. and running properly (e.g. quicken 5.0), but on occasion, when I get
  17. back to the c:\ prompt, the cursor seems to have forgotten about my
  18. command line.

  20. Specifically, no echoing of my input will occur until after the <enter>
  21. is pressed, but the output from the command comes immediately.  The
  22. commands are all executed properly (assuming I spelled them correctly
  23. 'in the blind'), but the echoing  of the command as I type it is just
  24. not there.

  26. As a very specific example, I run elvis  (the MSDOS vi clone) on a file
  27. (say autoexec.bat), and do some editing, and when I exit (with :wq),
  28. whoops - :wq doesn't echo either - is this a clue??!!!  At that point,
  29. the phenomenon is pretty much constant.  I wonder if it's the use of
  30. <escape> within elvis???  Of course, what good is any kind of
  31. 'computer' - even a simulated one - without a good version of 'vi' ? :)
