  21.     No, it contains basically a copy of the VGDA that is on
  22.     the disk.  This file is maintained by liblvm.a for faster
  23.     response on lvm commands.  That way you don't have to
  24.     go to the disk every time for a query.  If you remove this
  25.     file it will be automatically rebuilt the next time you
  26.     run an LVM command.
