  25. I found a file with this name of the local University. It is located in
  26. the AIX 3.2 directory, but I have some doubts about AIX 3.2 compliance,
  27. since the unixclock part requires the kernel variables "_tick" and
  28. "_tickadj", which aren't there (tick) or seem to have a different
  29. meaning (tickadj). Ok, I replaced the code by sysconf(...CLK_TCK) and a
  30. tickadj of 1usec (restimer says it's 256nsec). It now no longer exits
  31. immediately, but I've not get time synchronization yet.

  33. Can NTP be used to synchonize clocks without having a radio clock? NTP
  34. tells me the server has a level of 16, maybe the client refuses to
  35. synchronize to such a beast?

  37. I know that timed runs fine on AIX but we have some Intergraphs with
  38. NTP but without a timed and without a compiler.
