- I've just installed AMD5.3(beta1) and finally got a hold of a tex processor
- to format the documentation and was pleased to find they new type,
- nfsx defined which allows atomic mounts af a filesytem tree from a SINGLE
- server. My experience with Sun's automounter under 4.x.x is that it supports
- hierarchial maps from MULTIPLE file servers and given the environment
- for which I'm evaluting AMD this is exactly the functionality I need, i.e.
- like Sun's. Question to Net AMD hacks, can AMD support this functionality and
- if so could you PLEASE provide an example?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Jason
-
- P.S. An example using a multi interfaced host would be most excellent.
