- : 5.1 now?
-
- I can best summarize our opinion of WP5.1 with one word:
-
- SSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
-
- An example which might illustrate its potential slowness is a simple
- cursor movement (text, not graphic cursor). When you are near the
- bottom of the page, each movement of the cursor with the arrow keys
- causes the entire page to be redrawn on the screen.
-
- There are also bugs with the X implementation. Portions of the screen are
- never redrawn or redrawn in the wrong size.
-
- In order to make WP useable for us, we use the XTerm interface.
-
- I hope they fix these problems soon, I really do like WP.
