  12.  I had a similar problem. But reading the Answerbook tells you
  13. that you have to have NIS running for DNS to work. I.E. all
  14. calls to the resolver are done via NIS. Therefore you have to
  15. have NIS running, and initialised with the -b option on the makefile.
