  16. There is a lot of room for improvement, not just in IBM's products,
  17. but across the board.  In my response to the survey I pointed out that
  18. most of the problems relate to "incompatibilities" between products
  19. by different vendors.  If IBM finds ways to do this better it will
  20. benefit even those of us who don't use IBM products (I looked around;
  21. the only IBM product less than 10 years old in this lab is a
  22. mouse pad left by a sales rep.), both by raising standards for
  23. other vendors and by putting pressure on other vendors to improve
  24. interoperability.  Who knows, they might even come up with something
  25. we would buy.
