  11. I just got a note from Gail Renick at IBM explaining the purpose of the
  12. survey which I urged people not to cooperate with before (because IBM
  13. refused to tell me what they'd do with any documents I contributed):

  15.     The purpose of the survey was intended to help us do a better job of
  16.     testing our products by developing an understanding of how customers
  17.     would most likely use them.  With a variety of documents and typical
  18.     printing scenarios for constructing test cases, we can come closer
  19.     to simulating the customer's printing environment and expectations.
  20.     So far, the responses have been very helpful.

  22. So, if you want to help make IBM's products better, cooperate with the survey.
