- I just got a note from Gail Renick at IBM explaining the purpose of the
- survey which I urged people not to cooperate with before (because IBM
- refused to tell me what they'd do with any documents I contributed):
-
- The purpose of the survey was intended to help us do a better job of
- testing our products by developing an understanding of how customers
- would most likely use them. With a variety of documents and typical
- printing scenarios for constructing test cases, we can come closer
- to simulating the customer's printing environment and expectations.
- So far, the responses have been very helpful.
-
- So, if you want to help make IBM's products better, cooperate with the survey.
- (That was intended to be a complete non-judgemental sentence; please
- take it as such.)
