  13. The ARRAY package include the complete set of files associated with Frank
  14. Mittelbach's <PZF5HZ@RUIPC1E.BITNET> modifications to and new
  15. implementation of the array and tabular environments of LaTeX.  The files
  16. in this package reflect the version 2.1b (6 July 1992) release.
  17.  
  18. The special merits of this implementation are further options to format
  19. columns and the fact that fragile LaTeX commands don't have to be
  20. \protect'ed any more within those environments.  David Carlisle contributed
  21. many useful additions to the `array' style options: alignment on a decimal
  22. point, a customizable version of `\hline', implicit delimiters, the
  23. `tabularx' and `longtable' environments.

  25. To retrieve the entire set of 10 files in 13 parts, please include:
  26.  SENDME ARRAY
  27. in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET (FILESERV@SHSU.edu).
  28. If, for some reason, you should only require a specific file from this
  29. distribution, such as ARRAY.ARRAY_BUG, please include the command
