-
- So long as you have the QVT102A model, you can reprogram PF1 to 4 and Shift-PF1
- to 4, which correspond to the first 8 function keys on ADM,TVI and larger QVT
- terminals. They can have any 8 ASCII characters, and you program them by
- enterring SETUP mode (Ctrl-Shift-Setup) and moving the cursor to the last field
- of "Set 5 Status Line". Press the key to be programmed (with the Shift key if
- appropriate) and then press any key that *won't* be in the string. Enter up to
- 8 keys, then that same delimiter you typed before. As with other setup
- parameters, save them to non-volatile RAM by Shift-S.
-
- You cannot program Cntrl-PF1 to 4; you cannot program the keys from the host
- (unlike the TVI950, etc), and you cannot, it seems, program the function keys
- on the QVT102 models other than "A".
-
- If you don't have the "A" version, and you can't upgrade it easily, it might be
- possible to do something with an input filter on the host computer - what do
- you want to use the terminal with?
