- Hello New Newsgroup;
-
- I'm sure this question is almost too simple to print but I do need some
- answers! I am changing some of the escape sequences for a terminal (wyse50)
- and I am trying to compile and test. I have managed to compile these
- in my home directory under $home/w/wyse50 etc. Yet I havent been able to
- test them as I'm having trouble setting the terminal.
-
- Any answers would be most appreciated! Below is what I've tried so far.
-
- $ TERMINFO=/tristan/users/asg/jirwin; export TERMINFO
- $ tic wyse.new
-
- after these commands I've got some compiled entry's in $home/w/.
- Then I try:
-
- $TERM=wyse50; export TERM
-
- BUT THE CHANGES AREN'T TAKING PLACE!
-
- I'm a bit green at this but am trying.
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Jay Irwin
