- My old Zenith 286 refuses to boot up. It completes only part of the
- POST before dying. (The first three LEDs on the system board [CPU,
- ROM, & RAM] go off. The INT, DSK and RDY LEDs stay on.) The manual
- gives no clue as to probably causes of this saying, rather, to call
- the service technician. Local service gives me an 800 number, at
- which I get no answer.
-
- Is there an internet address for Zenith Technical Support? If so, I
- would very much appreciate someone taking the time to post or (better)
- e-mail me the address. The 800 number I have is 800-777-9108. If you
- have another number for Zenith Technical Support, I'd love to increase
- my chances of getting in touch with them over the telephone, too.
- Best of all, of course, if anyone knows what is the suspect component,
- I would welcome any diagnoses you want to offer.
-
- Don
