- I've recently bought an IP-1 video digitiser TRAM board from Sension
- which merrily comes bundled with the IPLIB package. I'm intending to
- host the IP1 from a Sun machine using a B014 VME motherboard.
-
- Here's my problem:
-
- The drivers for the IP-1 and the IPLIB software are supplied as either
- 3L or Inmos C source happily delivered with *DOS* installation batch files.
- Having been in touch with both Sension and the software writers at NEL (hi -
- if you're reading this), who say they don't know anyone who has installed
- either IPLIB or the IP-1 drivers on a Sun I was hoping someone out there
- either *had* or tried and encountered problems.
-
- I don't want to blindly hack through the batch files and patch together an
- installation for weeks on end if it ain't gonna work at the end of it. I'll
- be using the Inmos C compiler on a Sun 4 with the IP-1, like I mentioned,
- sitting on a B014 on the Sun VME.
-
- Anyone ANY ideas or comments on ANY hardware/software implications please ??
-
-
- Shaun.
